Dembicky Opened the enclosure and started cooling fans at 16:30. Everything ran smoothly except for one glitch with the echelle guiding (PR 2002019 submitted). A re-slew seemed to quickly fix the problem. The first half observers finished a couple minutes early and I since the 2nd half observers were using GrIm at f/10 I used the new instrument block (inst=grf10) for them. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:13 Echelle 66(-355) 215 71 4.0/5.5 90 4 ND1 1.30 19:20 Echelle -52(-532) 352 74 3.5/4.3 77 6 ND1 1.28 00:04 GrIm-f/10 40(387) 176 63 3.2/2.1 94 1 J 0.60 00:13 NA2gdr -1837(58162) 183 63 2.9/2.1 107 1 R 1.44 05:13 GrIm-f/10 60(463) 64 52 3.2/2.4 165 3 J 0.69 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 44 -4 6 358 (N) 111 Clear none 17:01 40 8 0 58 (ENE) 192 Clear none 18:01 40 1 4 88 (E) 147 Clear none 19:01 38 0 6 78 (ENE) 163 Clear none 20:01 39 1 0 218 (SW) 137 Clear none 21:01 38 -1 0 208 (SSW) 151 Clear none 22:01 38 0 0 198 (SSW) 94 Clear none 23:01 38 -7 0 169 (SSE) 74 Clear none 00:01 38 -6 0 122 (ESE) 89 Clear none 01:01 37 -11 0 351 (N) 87 Clear none 02:01 39 -16 3 91 (E) 86 Clear none 03:01 40 -21 0 187 (S) 58 Clear none 04:01 38 -15 1 180 (S) 149 Clear none 05:01 38 -23 3 145 (SE) 49 Clear none 06:01 37 -24 0 305 (NW) 51 Clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
