Dembicky I started the cooling fans around 16:00 but did not open due to clouds. UW06 & UW07 swapped halves tonight (this log is correct in who was on when). K. Covey was up here tonight training on the 3.5 meter with P. McGehee. The clouds finally somewhat dispersed around 01:15 when we were able to open and get started. Around 03:50 an orographic cloud appeared overhead and stopped observations for about 30 mins. Clouds came and went all night long. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:22 DISSlit -40(166) 117 63 -2.2/-1.2 249 24 none 1.31 01:28 NA2gdr 1405(58405) 118 64 -1.9/-1.2 259 16 R 1.39 03:36 DISslit 0(126) 114 74 -2.9/-2.5 245 26 none 1.43 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 30 -24 6 262 (W) 64 Cloudy none 17:01 30 -30 8 244 (WSW) 42 Cloudy none 18:01 31 -29 19 230 (SW) 37 Cloudy none 19:01 32 -26 14 252 (WSW) 48 Cloudy none 20:01 32 -22 10 265 (W) 61 Cloudy none 21:01 31 -23 13 261 (W) 37 Cloudy none 22:01 32 -19 14 267 (W) 102 Cloudy none 23:01 30 -7 14 228 (SW) 147 Cloudy none 00:01 30 -5 20 244 (WSW) 184 Cloudy none 01:01 29 -4 16 265 (W) 178 Pt.
