We remained closed during second half due to clouds and/or dust. Both the enclosure dust counter and the spare were reading half again as high as the counter on the tower (which is displayed on the web page). The GRIM observers experienced one no-flush error, which is a somewhat lower rate of occurrence than average. There were also some oddities in the rotator motion noted during checkout, but these had no significant effect on tracking. Everything else worked perfectly. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:07 GrIm2(f/5) -50(1176) 191 56 17.2/19.7 262 10 J 1.15 21:02 NA2gdr -1500(57500) 146 45 16.9/18.0 264 19 Clear 1.3 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 69 33 20 265 (W) 650 mstly clr none 19:01 66 29 21 256 (WSW) 450 clear none 20:01 63 31 20 247 (WSW) 563 clear none 21:01 62 32 17 267 (W) 1563 ptly cldy none 22:01 61 31 14 262 (W) 1708 mstly clr none 23:01 61 32 10 256 (WSW) 616 ptly cldy none 00:01 60 34 16 270 (W) 428 mstly cldy none 01:01 60 36 17 265 (W) 2795 ptly cldy none 02:01 58 38 20 268 (W) 4322 mstly cldy dust 03:01 57 39 18 264 (W) 1663 ptly cldy none 04:01 56 40 17 265 (W) 2768 ptly cldy none 05:01 55 40 16 266 (W) 2539 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
