Dembicky The night started out partly cloudy with clouds on the increase from the West and North which prevented opening at the start of the night. We had numerous sucker holes appear and then disappear5- 10 mins later all night long. Never anything worthwhile to open for most of the night. I did manage to finally open at 03:10 as the clouds seemed to have moved to the horizon. Seeing was around 1 arc sec when I focused the telescope. I proceeded to do some tracking tests (20 mins) without and with guiding (time permitting). No filter (empty) in SPICAM was used since I had it set up for J.Morgans pinhole tests (which weren't completed due to clouds). The W images seemed to have the worst tracking error. The S and N images both looked good and the E image had a little error. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:17 SPIcam -190(1013) 99 54 11.9/12.7 72 16 none 1.14 03:33 NA2gdr 7935(67935) 103 57 11.6/12.4 67 16 clear 1.26 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 61 43 0 111 (ESE) 243 Pt.
