Dembicky, R. McMillan (2nd half) The night started out partly cloudy but the humidity was on the rise and a large storm cell was just off to our East and another to the West. Lightning was also present in within 8 miles. I diverted opening until conditions improved. I opened the enclosure at 23:15 under partly cloudy skies but what appeared to be improving conditions. I also called Jon D. to come in to do the collimation (and Russet since she wanted to be here as well). Russet came in around 23:50 just as we were getting ready to start the primary mirror collimation. Finished the primary collimation around 00:25 just as clouds started to move in again. We re-opened again at 01:25 to try to get some tip-tilt measurements for the NA1 and TR4 ports with hopes of maybe a pointing model afterwards. We finished a rough tip-tilt measurement for the Echelle but it may need some refining yet. We finished a 72 point pointing model on the NA2 port. Then checked the tip-tilts on the Echelle to determine if more refining is necessary, they looked good. We proceeded to do a tip-tilt for the TR4 port and then proceeded to take some SHACK data. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:37 SPIcam -250 167 69 10.9/11.7 254 8 U 1.83 04:04 S-H -125(1404) -11 77 12.3/11.0 279 6 - 1.0 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 63 47 8 251 (WSW) 243 Pt.
