We focused the instrument around 21:00 with about 1.1 arc sec seeing in r'. Seeing was very variable from just under 1.0 arc sec to > 2.2 arc sec, as read from the guider images. The first half things went well and for the second half they started with imaging the moon and moved onto more challenging "moving" targets, ie. satellites, with success!!! After imaging a couple satellites they moved back to more mundane SN targets. Seeing was very variable and ranged between 1.5-3.0 arc sec, from the guider, for the 2nd half. Observer reported that the seeing improved considerably at the very end of the night. No problems tonight. ---------------- PROBLEM LOG ---------------- Time Problem/Fix PR# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:56 SPIcam 0(-1290) 264 66 13.7/15.4 68 21 r' 1.13 20:59 NA2gdr 3350(63350) 264 66 13.7/15.3 85 20 none 1.50 23:53 SPIcam 0(1256) -76 39 11.6/12.1 81 16 r' 1.35 23:58 NA2gdr -152(59847) -75 38 11.7/12.0 24 18 none 1.85 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 64 41 7 88 (E) 373 Mst.
