The clouds cleared some around 00:10 MDT and I tried to open. The first half observer did not have enough time to get any useful images, so he turned it over to the second half observer to do some cals before we opened. I opened the dome at 00:20 when the sky miraculously cleared. I had trouble with the mirror covers opening automatically, so I switched to manual. It may have been solved easily by restarting something, but I just wanted to get on the sky so I did not try and troubleshoot. Once running, all went very smooth for the rest of the night. ---------------- PROBLEM LOG ---------------- Time Problem/Fix PR# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:20 Mir covers don't work on auto/switched to manual none ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:55 DIS Slit -250(1065) 121 38 16.1/16.5 273 2 none 1.09" --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 71 50 3 260 (W) 452 cloudy none 17:01 73 50 14 259 (W) 342 cloudy none 18:01 68 48 9 267 (W) 373 cloudy none 19:01 66 48 8 268 (W) 451 cloudy none 20:01 62 50 11 141 (SE) 431 cloudy rain 21:01 54 51 16 110 (ESE) 567 cloudy rain 22:01 53 48 17 73 (ENE) 545 cloudy none 23:01 58 43 6 106 (ESE) 227 cloudy none 00:01 59 48 2 267 (W) 559 ptly cldy none 01:01 60 49 1 276 (W) 540 clear none 02:01 61 48 1 271 (W) 536 clear none 03:01 60 48 0 104 (ESE) 479 clear none 04:01 60 48 1 264 (W) 563 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
