Opened enclosure at 21:38 after the threat of rain subsided. We had a bat in the enclosure around 00:30. I saw it zipping all over in the enclosure with the IR camera, probably looking for a meal. Clouds started coming back in around 01:00 and eventually swamped us at 03:40. At shutdown I found we had a visiting guest on the intermediate level. Our bat in the enclosure (or is that in the Belfree?) from earlier in the night managed to make it down to the intermediate level. It was swooping all over the place but I couldn't manage to shoo him/her out the door back to the enclosure level. Eventually it hid somewhere on the intermediate level. Do bats feed on moths??? Hmmmm... Anyway, I left the light in the stairwell leading to the enclosure open and the door open. Hopefully it will attract insects to the light and draw the bat to the insects and back up into the enclosure where it can escape the next time we open. ---------------- PROBLEM LOG ---------------- Time Problem/Fix PR# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:00 Rain sensor not working - Had light rain this morning 2001164 and the rain sensor alarm did not go off.
