Clouds came in just before twilight and stopped observations at 04:50 this morning. No problems other than one minor one (see problem log) with the remote observers Mac/Remark. There was also a serious problem with SPIcam while showing the visiting (training) observers how to operate the instrument. PR submitted. SPIcam was not needed tonight for observations. ---------------- PROBLEM LOG ---------------- Time Problem/Fix PR# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:05 Remote Observers Mac gave a camera busy, then would not allow him to exit the slit viewer window on the Echelle. Things worked fine from here so he exited Remark and re- started the Echelle. This fixed the problem. 00:15 SPIcam filter wheel and shutter would not initialize. Resetting instrument did not fix. 2001157 ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:16 Echelle 76(675) 133 29 18.7/19.7 85 13 ND1 1.52 22:51 Echelle 57(500) 146 52 17.9/18.4 113 15 Clear 1.62 03:24 Echelle 35(368) 357 65 16.9/16.9 89 8 ND1 0.85 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 72 39 0 232 (SW) 1503 Cloudy none 19:01 70 35 11 91 (E) 1071 Pt.
