Skies continued to improve and we observed science objects without incident all first half, although seeing was not great. Second half was marked by high winds and dust, but clear sky for the most part. We lingered near the closure limits, but I stayed open since this was the only clear sky we have had in a while. I switched fan configurations to help keep the dust tolerable in the dome which helped for a while. Humidity also rose and everything converged around the start of the last program, so I closed. ---------------- PROBLEM LOG ---------------- Time Problem/Fix PR# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:55 SPIcam 000(1397) 140 78 17.7/18.4 71 22 z' 1.73" 21:10 SPIcam 000(1394) 270 72 17.6/18.2 72 24 r' 1.83" 21:14 NA2 Gdr -1600(1392) 272 70 17.3/17.9 76 21 none 1.53" 01:14 DIS Slit 125(1216) 130 68 13.4/13.8 74 24 none 1.62" 02:30 DIS Slit 230(????) 181 75 12.5/12.9 46 12 none 1.81" --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 69 35 13 128 (SE) 862 mstly clr none 17:01 72 37 18 76 (ENE) 1225 mstly clr none 18:01 70 38 7 86 (E) 1388 mstly clr none 19:01 70 37 15 80 (E) 1314 mstly clr none 20:01 65 42 13 77 (ENE) 1672 mstly clr none 21:01 63 36 26 76 (ENE) 1111 mstly clr none 22:01 61 39 21 75 (ENE) 1442 mstly clr none 23:01 59 42 21 73 (ENE) 2089 mstly clr none 00:01 57 45 28 70 (ENE) 2738 mstly clr none 01:01 56 46 22 68 (ENE) 3021 mstly clr none 02:01 54 47 14 52 (NE) 2971 mstly clr none 03:01 53 48 0 115 (ESE) 3548 mstly clr none 04:01 53 48 18 45 (NE) 3144 mstly clr none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
