Thick clouds during first half and a storm that perpetually approached but never arrived kept us closed. The clouds gradually thinned first half, but even while it was safe to open there wasn't much chance of getting science on faint targets. We finally opened to variable seeing for the last couple of hours of the night. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:05 SPIcam 100(1460) 195 51 14.7/13.9 105 6 g' 0.99 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 63 36 10 108 (ESE) 1304 cloudy none 19:01 62 37 14 83 (E) 1044 cloudy none 20:01 62 34 15 87 (E) 1069 cloudy none 21:01 61 36 12 88 (E) 1229 ptly cldy none 22:01 57 42 24 122 (ESE) 2555 mstly cldy none 23:01 57 43 16 99 (E) 2543 cloudy none 00:01 57 41 15 113 (ESE) 2434 mstly cldy none 01:01 58 40 7 88 (E) 2357 ptly cldy none 02:01 58 39 6 86 (E) 2641 ptly cldy none 03:01 59 38 4 102 (ESE) 2340 ptly cldy none 04:01 57 40 1 115 (ESE) 2390 ptly cldy none 05:01 57 38 2 232 (SW) 1944 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
