Clouds and threatening weather in late afternoon kept us closed until mid-twilight, and more clouds cost some photons during the middle portion of the night, but we were open the whole night in spite of a small dust event -- the pressurization fans and the fact that we were facing away from the wind kept the dust level in the dome much lower than outside. Seeing was mostly good to moderate (0.8-1.5 arcsec), with a few periods of ~2 arcsec. Everything worked perfectly; there were no guider failures tonight. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:26 DISslit 150(1499) 158 55 16.4/16.8 110 13 - 1.40 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 61 33 14 27 (NNE) 655 mstly cldy none 19:01 63 30 15 78 (ENE) 665 mstly cldy none 20:01 63 30 12 84 (E) 943 ptly cldy none 21:01 62 29 9 83 (E) 1180 ptly cldy none 22:01 61 31 10 111 (ESE) 2158 mstly clr none 23:01 61 31 15 128 (SE) 1814 mstly clr none 00:01 60 33 13 138 (SE) 1918 mstly clr none 01:01 59 34 13 176 (S) 3505 ptly cldy none 02:01 58 38 14 173 (S) 2382 ptly cldy none 03:01 58 38 13 178 (S) 1944 ptly cldy none 04:01 58 35 8 192 (SSW) 2460 mstly clr none 05:01 57 36 6 181 (S) 2272 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
