Even when the wind shifted to the east, there were no dire consequences to the dust, humidity, or seeing. We had a little trouble at the transition to second half when the eyelid wouldn't open for the echelle; that cost about 5 minutes. A later difficulty when the remote observer's Mac crashed and hung up the MC, possibly due to slitviewer communications (does this sound familiar?) cost no time, since the echelle continued to expose during the hang and eventually read out normally. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:42 DISslit -25(1313) -53 70 14.6/17.0 250 12 - 0.93 20:45 NA2gdr -136(56913) -54 69 14.7/16.9 260 16 Red 0.74 01:24 Echelle 61( ) 43 ND1 1.23 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 65 8 14 264 (W) 752 clear none 18:01 63 7 18 273 (W) 629 clear none 19:01 63 9 18 292 (WNW) 649 clear none 20:01 58 10 16 256 (WSW) 823 clear none 21:01 58 8 16 232 (SW) 826 clear none 22:01 57 8 12 235 (SW) 814 clear none 23:01 57 8 7 257 (WSW) 759 clear none 00:01 58 11 6 250 (WSW) 848 clear none 01:01 57 14 1 93 (E) 836 mstly clr none 02:01 57 15 4 12 (NNE) 748 mstly clr none 03:01 59 15 14 0 (N) 751 clear none 04:01 58 18 13 57 (NE) 774 clear none 05:01 58 20 16 47 (NE) 750 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
