I played around with some pointing tests for a while before closing at 22:00 due to the clouds. At 22:10 it began to rain. After midnight, the clouds thinned out somewhat, although they never went away completely. We reopened and got observations under extremely variable seeing conditions, ranging from half an hour with 0.7 arcseconds to an hour with >3 arcseconds after the wind shifted east. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:48 DISslit -50(1345) 73 72 16.9/18.5 262 6 - 1.18 20:59 NA2gdr -154(55845) 208 55 17.1/18.3 262 6 none 1.11 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 67 12 14 346 (NNW) 381 mstly clr none 18:01 67 11 10 329 (NNW) 394 mstly clr none 19:01 67 13 10 301 (WNW) 394 ptly cldy none 20:01 62 14 2 292 (WNW) 400 ptly cldy none 21:01 63 12 6 263 (W) 437 mstly cldy none 22:01 64 13 8 275 (W) 425 mstly cldy sprinkles 23:01 63 13 8 281 (W) 460 mstly cldy none 00:01 63 13 5 266 (W) 451 ptly cldy none 01:01 62 12 4 265 (W) 448 ptly cldy none 02:01 59 13 1 343 (NNW) 481 ptly cldy none 03:01 59 14 10 351 (N) 503 ptly cldy none 04:01 52 19 14 60 (ENE) 790 mstly clr none 05:01 52 22 3 358 (N) 1206 mstly clr none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
