 Observing Specialist: Noel Camron Hastings
    Heavy cloud cover and some rain kept us closed early on. I opened the
dome at 23:02 for first half under partly cloudy skies. Seeing was pretty
good, no troubles encountered.
    I closed the dome due to dust at 03:15 MDT. The dust counter on the
met tower was found to be in error and in need of recalibration. The
counter in the 3.5-m dome concurred with the most recently calibrated
dust counter we have. We waited for dust to drop, but remained closed the
remainder of the night.
