Just barely in time for flats, but squeezed them in! Right after getting the flats in we had time for focus and had to close again at 21:03 MDT due to rising humidity and more rain clouds approaching. We were able to open again at 00:05 MDT in hopes that the clouds had left us alone for the night. When I switched over to second half the clouds returned but we soon simply tried to shoot through the cirrus that remained. Near the end of the night it cleared. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:45 SPIcam 0(1086) -35 77 10.2/11.1 276 9 r' 0.85" 02:10 DIS Slit -25(869) 185 56 8.7/8.3 302 17 none 1.55" ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 55 43 10 280 (W) 1252 cloudy none 17:01 54 42 8 267 (W) 1499 cloudy none 18:01 51 41 9 289 (WNW) 1265 cloudy thunderstorm 19:01 48 38 9 344 (NNW) 1342 cloudy none 20:01 49 37 10 281 (W) 1786 ptly cldy none 21:01 49 38 6 274 (W) 1604 cloudy none 22:01 49 36 12 305 (NW) 933 cloudy none 23:01 49 35 14 299 (WNW) 848 cloudy none 00:01 46 38 13 337 (NNW) 810 cloudy none 01:01 47 35 13 301 (WNW) 551 cloudy none 02:01 49 32 17 299 (WNW) 831 cloudy none 03:01 50 31 25 293 (WNW) 961 ptly cldy none 04:01 48 33 16 292 (WNW) 887 ptly cldy none 05:01 47 35 19 293 (WNW) 813 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
