Lots of cirrus clouds at sunset which prevented opening on time. Made for a very nice looking sunset but not much good for astronomy tonight. Clouds persisted thru the night with a sucker hole around midnight, that quicky vanished. We then had another sucker hole appear around 04:00 but the satellite image showed more clouds on their way from the S and W. The 2nd half observer had already called it quits earlier though due to the poor outlook from the IR satellite images. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 50 13 9 245 (WSW) 604 mst. cldy none 17:01 49 12 13 266 (W) 564 mst. cldy none 18:01 49 14 12 254 (WSW) 599 mst. cldy none 19:01 49 11 19 248 (WSW) 629 mst. cldy none 20:01 47 12 21 236 (SW) 717 cloudy none 21:01 46 12 17 240 (WSW) 680 cloudy none 22:01 46 14 17 246 (WSW) 675 cloudy none 23:01 44 15 13 257 (WSW) 733 cloudy none 00:01 43 17 16 268 (W) 803 cloudy none 01:01 43 20 16 245 (WSW) 895 cloudy none 02:01 42 24 16 269 (W) 1127 cloudy none 03:01 42 25 14 264 (W) 1144 cloudy none 04:01 41 26 4 266 (W) 1216 pt. cldy none 05:01 41 25 8 273 (W) 1208 pt. cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
