Seeing was variable with a strong position dependence; the measurements shown in the focus log were all obtained in the northwest, where seeing tended to be good, but in the east the seeing was up to 1.6 arcseconds much of the time. We did obtain several hours of good seeing just under an arcsecond in the right parts of the sky. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:13 DISslit -80(1031) -43 75 10.1/12.4 219 8 - 1.09 20:17 NA2gdr 588(56588) -45 75 10.3/12.3 230 8 none 0.75 22:02 DISslit -25(1026) 299 56 9.9/10.1 184 8 - 1.15 22:02 NA2gdr -294(55705) 299 56 9.9/10.1 184 8 none 0.91 00:52 DISslit 25(1019) 300 56 9.7/9.0 221 5 - 1.05 00:53 NA2gdr -2000(54000) 300 56 9.7/9.0 221 5 none 0.97 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 58 14 10 263 (W) 2141 clear none 17:01 62 15 10 267 (W) 2141 clear none 18:01 57 11 13 213 (SSW) 1894 clear none 19:01 54 9 7 231 (SW) 2040 clear none 20:01 49 3 9 233 (SW) 1774 clear none 21:01 50 4 5 216 (SW) 1680 clear none 22:01 50 4 8 181 (S) 1530 clear none 23:01 48 3 7 188 (S) 1630 clear none 00:01 49 4 8 204 (SSW) 1570 clear none 01:01 50 4 8 195 (SSW) 1560 clear none 02:01 49 5 11 240 (WSW) 1295 clear none 03:01 48 4 11 221 (SW) 1289 clear none 04:01 49 4 9 262 (W) 1196 clear none 05:01 48 4 7 265 (W) 1465 clear none 06:01 48 5 9 271 (W) 1688 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
