We also had winds in excess of 50+ MPH at the start of the night. The dust subsided but the humidity and/or winds remained, keeping us closed for the entire night. We also had a problem (maybe?) with the NA2 guider not reading correctly. Craig was here to diagnose the problem and seemed to fix it (not sure). PR was submitted anyhow and I also did some further testing during the night. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 39 21 25 261 (W) 15951 Clouds Dust 17:01 38 16 35 263 (W) 28772 Clouds Dust 18:01 34 10 39 258 (WSW) 19900 Clouds Dust 19:01 25 17 20 278 (W) 25266 Clouds Dust 20:01 21 14 30 284 (WNW) 9373 Clear Dust 21:01 20 9 31 272 (W) 7382 Clear Dust 22:01 18 12 35 273 (W) 2443 Clear? none 23:01 18 15 32 285 (WNW) 341 Clear? none 00:01 17 15 30 261 (W) 776 Cloudy Lt. snow 01:01 17 16 21 269 (W) 314 Cloudy Lt. snow 02:01 16 15 14 266 (W) 1857 Cloudy Lt. snow 03:01 16 15 15 266 (W) 1862 Cloudy Lt. snow? 04:01 15 14 15 288 (WNW) 1973 Pt.
