Opened louvers at 17:25. Opened enclosure/louvers at 18:05. Clouds moved in around 19:00 and remained for the rest of the night. We had very good seeing (sub arc sec) despite the clouds interfering with observations for the first half observer. Seeing was 0.53!!! arc sec when I focused GrIm (at f/10 in J) at 00:35 although clouds prevented 2nd half from starting observations on time. Clouds most all night long, stopping observations at various times as they thickened and thinned. Eventually they mostly cleared out late in the early morning. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:50 SPIcam -125(981) 8 47 6.7/10.0 348 5 R 0.64 18:55 NA2gdr -761(60288) 8 47 6.7/10.0 348 5 red 0.80 20:30 SPIcam -10(982) 13 52 7.2/7.4 245 1 R 0.54 21:50 SPIcam -30(919) 0 54 6.6/6.4 207 0 R 0.61 22:05 NA2gdr -256(59743) 0 54 6.6/6.4 207 0 - 0.84 23:10 SPIcam 120(1067) -10 53 7.7/6.6 338 3 R 0.57 23:15 NA2gdr -928(59071) -10 53 7.7/6.6 338 3 - 0.83 00:35 GrIm-f/10 0(1011) 249 33 7.1/6.5 278 5 J 0.53 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 48 18 5 264 (W) 450 clear none 17:01 51 18 9 289 (WNW) 404 mst clr none 18:01 45 11 10 355 (N) 331 pt cldy none 19:01 44 17 5 352 (N) 640 pt cldy none 20:01 45 16 4 345 (NNW) 563 mst cldy none 21:01 45 15 2 281 (W) 674 pt cldy none 22:01 44 18 0 245 (WSW) 1070 mst cldy none 23:01 47 7 3 287 (WNW) 118 mst cldy none 00:01 45 14 6 329 (NNW) 529 mst cldy none 01:01 44 14 4 265 (W) 744 pt cldy none 02:01 45 14 2 260 (W) 910 pt cldy none 03:01 45 12 6 244 (WSW) 495 pt cldy none 04:01 43 12 5 194 (SSW) 611 mst clr none 05:01 45 5 5 261 (W) 391 mst clr none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
