No problems encountered. It does seem that the software interface to control the eyelids is not working. I was told Dave Woods changed the way in which it works, so perhaps the bit numbers I am using are no longer valid. No observing trouble encountered. Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Russet McMillan Second half went very smoothly. There were varying amounts of light cirrus most of the time, clearing toward dawn. The seeing was better than 0.7 arcsec whenever it was checked on a bright star. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 Echelle +92(249) -48 54 0.1/+0.4 278 12 ND3 0.97" 00:15 GrIm2(f/10) -25(614) 62 62 -0.3/-1.0 328 7 J 0.67 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 34 14 13 303 (WNW) 207 clear none 17:01 36 17 13 293 (WNW) 189 cirrus none 18:01 33 15 12 303 (WNW) 218 cirrus none 19:01 32 11 13 274 (W) 317 cirrus none 20:01 32 12 11 280 (W) 325 cirrus none 21:01 33 13 15 284 (WNW) 406 cirrus none 22:01 32 14 5 252 (WSW) 465 cirrus none 23:01 31 14 12 289 (WNW) 631 cirrus none 00:01 32 13 14 315 (NW) 673 cirrus none 01:01 31 12 12 306 (NW) 350 cirrus none 02:01 32 12 11 308 (NW) 356 cirrus none 03:01 32 12 12 315 (NW) 389 mstly clr none 04:01 33 10 10 275 (W) 494 clear none 05:01 32 8 8 269 (W) 532 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
