Opened the enclosure at 16:30. The cloud cam is being pumped down tonight so no cloud cam images. Everything ran smoothly for the first half of the night. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Russet McMillan Thin cirrus showed up at the beginning of first half and gradually thickened. We had good seeing at first, but it became unstable as the clouds got heavier. The observers had bright targets and were able to continue exposing for a while, but I closed when everything except Jupiter disappeared. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:23 Echelle -81(-716) 228 58 -1.1/-0.3 24 10 ND3 0.80 00:10 Echelle -46(-757) 188 80 -0.6/-1.0 299 15 ND3 0.75 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 32 3 4 350 (N) 63 Clear none 17:01 32 -8 5 5 (N) 19 Clear none 18:01 29 -5 9 359 (N) 19 Clear none 19:01 31 -2 12 359 (N) 7 Clear none 20:01 31 -4 7 357 (N) 12 Clear none 21:01 29 -6 11 324 (NW) 21 Clear none 22:01 30 -5 11 292 (WNW) 20 Mst.
