Traing the CU folks tonight on the telescope. We opened around 19:10 under marginal conditions, and just about long enough to get focused before the clouds rolled in and killed us before any useful science could be obtained. We closed at 20:15 due to clouds and the threat of snow on it's way from the west. The rain sensor (or snow sensor in this case) went off around 03:00. Just flakes in the air so the snow program was not run. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE MODE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:25 DISslit -90(55) 114 64 -4.3/-2.9 178 9 none 1.49 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 28 4 1 239 (WSW) 97 Mst cldy none 17:01 26 4 6 92 (E) 111 Mst cldy none 18:01 25 0 13 151 (SSE) 80 Mst cldy none 19:01 25 -11 15 154 (SSE) 84 Mst cldy none 20:01 25 0 12 177 (S) 108 Cloudy none 21:01 24 0 17 147 (SSE) 134 Cloudy none 22:01 24 2 13 146 (SE) 138 Cloudy none 23:01 25 3 15 147 (SSE) 154 Cloudy none 00:01 24 2 13 142 (SE) 190 Cloudy none 01:01 22 7 9 122 (ESE) 209 Cloudy none 02:01 19 9 12 86 (E) 467 Cloudy none 03:01 19 9 13 95 (E) 392 Cloudy lt. snow 04:01 17 11 16 110 (ESE) 512 Cloudy lt. snow note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
