We opened at 16:30 MST for sky flats. No troubles encountered in startup. 2nd Observing Specialist: Jack Dembicky Seeing grew worse after midnight for a hour or so but the skies remained clear. At 03:00 the clouds started slowly moving in and by 04:50 it was too cloudy to get anymore useful science for the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG/INST FAILURE TIME S/E/G/D/O TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION -------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:04 GFP 50(651) 99 58 0.1/ 2.3 236 13 B 1.01 18:12 NA2 Gdr 1238(65361) 99 58 -0.4/ 2.0 238 14 V 1.05 20:10 GFP -25(411) 161 64 -1.4/-0.5 228 14 B 0.97 20:15 NA2 Gdr 1238(65361) 161 64 -1.4/-0.5 217 13 V 0.82 23:55 GFP -50(353) -10 70 -1.2/-1.1 198 18 B 1.27 23:59 NA2Gdr 1630(65630) 11 54 -1.3/-1.1 204 20 R 1.55 03:30 GFP -25(329) 146 66 -1.5/-2.2 211 21 B 1.17 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 35 0 13 256 (WSW) 85 clear none 17:01 31 -5 8 234 (SW) 108 clear none 18:01 30 -5 12 235 (SW) 144 clear none 19:01 31 -4 11 263 (W) 120 clear none 20:01 31 -8 11 247 (WSW) 119 clear none 21:01 31 -7 15 215 (SW) 97 clear none 22:01 32 -2 18 211 (SSW) 93 clear none 23:01 31 -5 18 213 (SSW) 105 mstly clr none 00:01 30 -1 23 209 (SSW) 124 clear none 01:01 29 7 23 217 (SW) 142 clear none 02:01 30 3 19 203 (SSW) 136 mstly clr none 03:01 30 1 21 200 (SSW) 136 ptly cldy none 04:01 29 0 14 192 (SSW) 141 mst. cldy none 05:01 28 1 23 218 (SW) 131 cloudy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
