Barentine Poor weather precluded opening completely. Brian used DIS to take some cals early on; we switched to SPICam around 21:00 after all their DIS targets were gone anyway, despite weather. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R. McMillan The snow started to stick on the ground after 22:00, so we ran the snow program for a few hours. There was some partial clearing of the clouds after 03:00, but continued fog, blowing snow, and ice on the dome made it impossible to open. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 34 32 11 55 (NE) 23 MstlyCldy lt snow 17:01 34 32 9 42 (NE) 27 MstlyCldy none 18:01 34 32 4 355 (N) 40 MstlyCldy none 19:01 33 33 0 351 (N) 1877 Overcast lt snow 20:01 34 34 1 238 (WSW) 976 MstlyCldy lt snow 21:01 33 33 6 276 (W) 1334 MstlyCldy lt snow 22:01 32 32 9 239 (WSW) 344 MstlyCldy lt snow 23:01 32 32 1 196 (SSW) 36 MstlyCldy lt snow 00:01 32 32 0 302 (WNW) 23 cloudy snow 01:01 32 32 0 327 (NNW) 20 cloudy snow 02:01 32 31 10 64 (ENE) 1 mstly cldy snow 03:01 31 30 11 63 (ENE) 1 ptly cldy fog 04:01 30 30 7 83 (E) 6 ptly cldy fog 05:01 30 30 10 81 (E) 8 ptly cldy fog note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
