Intermittent clouds and variable seeing prevailed for the remainder of first half, making science difficult but not impossible. The observer chose not to use the echelle autoguider, but the tracking was good and everything worked smoothly. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Camron Hastings Second half started smoothly. Cirrus moved in and out all night, hampering throughput a little but not much. All systems ran well with semi-poor seeing. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:45 Echelle -115(-87) -66 78 11.6/13.5 172 6 ND2 1.00" 20:11 Echelle - 75(-85) 24 56 10.8/12.0 176 13 Clear 1.28" 02:14 Echelle 58(-103) -156 42 9.6/ 9.2 187 6 Clear 1.56" --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 36 9 258 (WSW) 391 ptly cldy none 17:01 57 36 6 266 (W) 462 ptly cldy none 18:01 53 37 5 208 (SSW) 528 mstly cldy none 19:01 52 38 10 142 (SE) 997 ptly cldy none 20:01 51 37 11 180 (S) 537 ptly cldy none 21:01 51 36 6 164 (SSE) 500 ptly cldy none 22:01 51 38 7 173 (S) 696 mstly cldy none 23:01 48 39 3 119 (ESE) 658 ptly cldy none 00:01 48 39 9 136 (SE) 737 ptly cldy none 01:01 48 39 8 162 (SSE) 702 ptly cldy none 02:01 50 37 8 177 (S) 690 ptly cldy none 03:01 50 37 9 221 (SW) 494 ptly cldy none 04:01 50 38 9 190 (S) 591 ptly cldy none 05:01 49 37 10 198 (SSW) 590 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
