Dembicky I finished checkout around 17:45 and kept the enclosure closed (fans on) waiting for tonights observers to show up to take their lamps. They logged in around 18:30 and started taking lamps about 10 mins later (their Xlamps would not work so I had them use MCNode to control the lamps). I opened at 19:05 and did a instrument focus for the observers to get them on their way. Clouds finally became thick enough to stop observations around 22:30. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Camron Hastings Second half started with clouds that thinned a bit as the night went on and allowed for observations. The seeing was stable and good, no problems encountered and pointing was also good. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:10 DISslit -390(552) 109 52 11.1/15.4 223 12 none 1.01" 19:25 NA2gdr -995(56004) 112 54 11.8/15.1 235 18 R 1.12" 20:25 DISslit -160(732) 130 45 11.8/13.4 250 10 none 1.13" 00:53 DIS Slit 20(803) 206 54 11.6/11.4 260 12 none 1.09" 00:57 NA2 Gdr 553(57556) -149 53 11.7/11.6 237 17 R 0.97" --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 60 14 11 266 (W) 292 Pt.
