Barentine Opened around 19:00 to ventilate under mostly clear skies and light winds. Clouds rolled in from the west around 20:00 and were intermittent until about 22:00 when the sky became almost totally clear again. Seeing was generally very good, only briefly popping up above an arcsecond and usually in the 0.85-0.95" range. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: N.C. Hastings Second half started smoothly again. No problems encountered, decent seeing and clear skies. A few random cirrus clouds from time to time was all. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 DIS-slit -275(630) 153 44 11.5/13.4 229 10 -- 0.93 19:55 NA2Gdr -3958(50997) 157 45 11.7/13.0 224 11 R 0.98 23:35 NA2Gdr -2662(50997) 230 00 11.9/12.1 250 15 R 1.07 --------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 57 13 12 262 (W) 680 MstlyClr none 17:01 59 12 13 269 (W) 571 MstlyClr none 18:01 54 11 9 259 (W) 511 MstlyClr none 19:01 53 11 9 223 (SW) 497 MstlyClr none 20:01 53 13 9 221 (SW) 496 PtlyCldy none 21:01 53 13 10 239 (WSW) 517 PtlyCldy none 22:01 54 12 10 252 (WSW) 504 MstlyClr none 23:01 53 12 9 249 (WSW) 567 MstlyClr none 00:01 53 11 12 253 (WSW) 468 MstlyClr none 01:01 53 9 12 270 (W) 390 MstlyClr none 02:01 52 9 12 282 (WNW) 482 MstlyClr none 03:01 52 9 10 280 (W) 360 MstlyClr none 04:01 52 8 13 304 (NW) 308 MstlyClr none 05:01 52 8 6 352 (N) 364 MstlyClr none 06:01 52 10 8 345 (NNW) 595 MstlyClr none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
