Craig Loomis called up and we fixed the PMSS data logger problem from last night. All systems started OK with the telescope but GRIM had the U.R. quadrant die after 2 images. A restart fixed it. From that point on all went smooth under clear skies with excellent seeing. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Russet McMillan DIS worked perfectly during second half. The weather was clear until some very thin cirrus arrived at 3:00, with excellent seeing -- just under an arcsecond most of the time on the slitviewer, sometimes 1u per 0.1 cubic feet. TELESCOPE STATUS Primary, secondary, and tertiary mirrors in place and collimated. Primary support system operational. Mirror ventilation system in place. Telescope drives operational.
