Tried to repair the bright Qz lamp that is burnt out, but could not due to the lack of a spare lamp troubles and construction issues. PR submitted. Well, tried to submit a PR and found the web server down. Hard rebooted the WebMac and all was well after that. Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Russet McMillan The clouds cleared after midnight, but fog lingered and kept us closed for a few more hours. The humidity started to drop after 02:00, and the telescope was opened at 03:00 under clear skies. There was a small delay after opening while I searched for an active but unlit stop button. Seeing was subarcsecond during focus, but deteriorated to a more moderate level with realistic airmasses and exposure times. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:16 DISslit -75(525) 17 79 0.4/1.0 8 20 - 0.91 03:30 NA2gdr -1317(54682)-11 59 0.6/0.8 13 17 none 1.04 03:35 NA2gdr -811(56238) -12 58 0.5/0.8 11 11 R 1.15 04:48 DISslit 0(611) -13 56 0.4/0.3 11 20 - 1.45 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 36 33 6 254 (WSW) 380 17:01 35 33 9 300 (WNW) 314 18:01 34 33 8 288 (WNW) 349 19:01 34 33 7 269 (W) 536 20:01 33 33 6 274 (W) 381 21:01 32 32 6 278 (W) 2015 22:01 33 33 10 293 (WNW) 101 cloudy fog+rain+snow 23:01 33 33 8 301 (WNW) 90 cloudy fog 00:01 33 33 9 336 (NNW) 274 ptly cldy fog 01:01 33 34 6 351 (N) 98 mstly clr fog 02:01 32 31 12 8 (N) 497 clear none 03:01 33 19 13 22 (NNE) 362 clear none 04:01 33 16 12 3 (N) 315 clear none 05:01 33 15 17 33 (NNE) 307 clear none 06:01 33 16 18 24 (NNE) 291 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
