Best seeing with guider binned 2x2: 0.54 arcsec). We had a little trouble on two occasions with the telescope pointing, which cost a few minutes to resolve. Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Noel Camron Hastings Nothing to say, all ran smoothly throughout the night without a single glitch. Good seeing, light cirrus. Observer had over 30 minutes of flats to do plus darks at end of run, so I left GRIM on the telescope. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:18 GrIm2(f/10)-0100 126 68 -2.9/-1.8 201 3 K 0.74 18:23 NA2gdr -2089(59010)126 68 -2.9/-1.8 201 3 ?? 0.85 20:07 GrIm2(f/10) 0050(580) 207 75 -2.2/-3.0 237 8 K 0.46 20:12 NA2gdr -1000(60100)211 74 -2.2/-2.9 235 8 ?? 0.74 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 29 2 8 254 (WSW) 45 clear none 17:01 27 6 1 204 (SSW) 58 clear none 18:01 26 -23 5 248 (WSW) 30 clear none 19:01 25 -12 2 189 (S) 62 clear none 20:01 28 -10 7 248 (WSW) 58 clear none 21:01 29 -2 6 259 (W) 55 clear none 22:01 31 4 8 266 (W) 104 cirrus none 23:01 30 2 6 238 (WSW) 135 cirrus none 00:01 28 7 8 212 (SSW) 140 cirrus none 01:01 28 0 8 242 (WSW) 96 cirrus none 02:01 28 -4 9 244 (WSW) 136 cirrus none 03:01 30 -12 13 237 (WSW) 119 cirrus none 04:01 29 -4 13 242 (WSW) 67 cirrus none 05:01 28 10 13 206 (SSW) 164 cirrus none 06:01 28 11 16 206 (SSW) 216 cirrus none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
