 Observing Specialist, 1st & 2nd shift: Noel Camron Hastings
  We opened the dome at 20:03 after the first observer finished
calibration images. I showed the second group of UW student trainees
around throughout instrument setup.
  Immediately upon starting of guiding the guider shutter began to stick
again, worse than before I am afraid. It now blocks up to 50% of the
field when it sticks.
  We closed due to clouds and rain at 22:05 MDT and remained so. Since
the prognosis was the same at 04:00 MDT we shut down for the night.

                             TELESCOPE STATUS
Primary, secondary, and tertiary mirrors in place and collimated.
Primary support system operational. Mirror ventilation system in
place.  Telescope drives operational. Current Remark version: 2.62.
Current guide software version: GIm Ctrlv3.0b27. Current TCC version
is 2.4.0b1 Current MC version: v1_7_3.
