During first half, the guider FWHM was similar to the DIMM measurements; during second half, there was no basis for comparison. The Adler program went fairly well, aside from the instrinsic difficulty of trying to see pretty objects with GRIM in twilight. I had a few problems in the first part of the night (such as persuading DIMM to find the right star), which kept me busy but had no significant impact on observing. The second half program lost a few minutes when an unwise slitviewer request froze their Remark. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 GRIM(f/5) 50(1293) 85 81 13.8/15.3 77 19 K 1.66 20:25 GRIM(f/10) 25(1287) 59 50 13.1/13.9 91 19 H 1.44 20:30 NA2Gdr -5700(1281) 59 50 13.1/13.9 91 19 -- 1.6 01:15 Echelle 180(384) -65 40 11.9/11.8 75 14 ND2 2.56 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 62 35 7 52 (NE) 513 clear none 18:01 61 37 7 79 (ENE) 609 clear none 19:01 58 38 12 89 (E) 662 clear none 20:01 57 40 18 79 (ENE) 719 clear none 21:01 55 40 15 88 (E) 799 clear none 22:01 55 41 16 75 (ENE) 849 clear none 23:01 54 41 11 103 (ESE) 894 clear none 00:01 53 41 13 85 (E) 856 clear none 01:01 54 40 13 72 (ENE) 816 clear none 02:01 53 40 12 79 (ENE) 793 clear none 03:01 53 39 11 78 (ENE) 887 clear none 04:01 55 30 7 11 (N) 731 clear none 05:01 53 33 7 84 (E) 868 clear none 06:01 52 32 0 223 (SW) 744 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
