There was enough time to obtain a few echelle spectra. Another storm threatened after midnight, causing us to close at 00:35, but the rain didn't arrive. No-one showed up to observe for UW02, which was listed on the schedule for second half. Chris Stubbs managed to reach one of the UW02 observers, who said the time had been given to another program, but didn't know which. Don Brownlee, the UW scheduler, could not be reached. Given the weather and current manpower, the rest of the night was called off. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:40 Echelle 123(392) 110 62 14.8/15.2 145 17 ND1 0.78 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 59 46 8 89 (E) 494 cloudy rain 19:01 52 45 18 114 (ESE) 672 cloudy rain 20:01 56 44 8 108 (ESE) 469 cloudy rain 21:01 57 45 11 107 (ESE) 586 cloudy none? 22:01 59 45 15 141 (SE) 609 ptly cldy none 23:01 58 45 15 139 (SE) 582 ptly cldy none 00:01 59 43 15 146 (SE) 559 ptly cldy none 01:01 59 42 14 177 (S) 473 ptly cldy none 02:01 56 44 9 175 (S) 526 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
