After a few sprinkles, we continued to watch the clouds and lightning until it appeared safe to open at 03:15. Both programs were able to get a fair amount of data, and there were no unusual problems aside from some difficulties in getting DIMM started up. --------------- Observer Comments ---------------- --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:15 SPIcam 50(1298) 219 57 17.2/18.4 178 16 R 0.82 20:20 NA2 Gdr 726(1298) 219 57 17.2/18.4 178 16 -- 0.95 23:20 GRIM(f/5) -75(1417) 93 22 15.3/16.0 179 7 H 2.4? 03:20 DISslit 100(1303) 213 47 14.8/14.7 181 7 -- 1.05 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:01 66 41 8 214 (SW) 461 ptly cldy none 19:01 66 44 9 185 (S) 411 mstly clr none 20:01 63 41 13 172 (S) 497 mstly clr none 21:01 62 42 12 175 (S) 572 mstly clr none 22:01 61 43 11 175 (S) 615 mstly clr none 23:01 59 43 6 182 (S) 767 mstly clr none 00:01 60 42 11 163 (SSE) 718 ptly cldy none 01:01 59 44 18 182 (S) 701 ptly cldy rain 02:01 59 45 13 134 (SE) 839 ptly cldy none 03:01 59 46 8 156 (SSE) 883 ptly cldy none 04:01 59 46 5 173 (S) 812 ptly cldy none 05:01 58 42 6 180 (S) 580 ptly cldy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
