Did accelerometer tests on DIS, the 3.5m mirror cell and the mirror itself. Did not open due to weather. Observing Specialist, 2nd Half: Camron Hastings Worked briefly with Jeff Morgan taking accelerometer data on the telescope cone. Other than that, weather kept us closed up. No Shack-Hartmann data was taken or sky work at all. ****** OBSERVER COMMENTS ****** --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ----------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- #First temp is air, second temp is telescope structure. ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 64 48 1 243 (WSW) 650 clear none 17:01 61 49 3 248 (WSW) 647 ptly cldy none 18:01 64 48 0 232 (SW) 692 ptly cldy none 19:01 65 46 2 165 (SSE) 710 ptly cldy none 20:01 63 48 9 86 (E) 710 cloudy none 21:01 64 45 16 109 (ESE) 811 cloudy none 22:01 63 45 12 89 (E) 867 cloudy none 23:01 57 47 24 86 (E) 976 cloudy rain 00:01 57 46 21 75 (ENE) 955 cloudy rain 01:01 56 45 22 76 (ENE) 1052 cloudy rain 02:01 61 40 18 62 (ENE) 799 cloudy none 03:01 57 44 22 71 (ENE) 1154 cloudy none 04:01 55 45 22 73 (ENE) 1038 cloudy none 05:01 53 46 24 65 (ENE) 890 cloudy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
