Noticed no desiccant at all in the outer PMSS canister window. The inner canister's window seems too opaque to get a color indication. When powering on the Pirani gauge for the afternoon checkout, the reading was still below scale (good?). For verification, the Varian ion pump LED scale on the side of SPIcam was looked at. It was indicating zero current. Also, turning on the LCD, a reading of 0.01 (?volts) was shown. So SPIcam's vacuum is probably ok. The operating temperature being near setpoint is likely a result of the warmer weather. Did not open due to cloudy conditions. Calibration spectra only were obtained for both programs. Did not perform lens monitoring program due to weather. Gave up for the night at 04:30.
