Some SPIcam calibration images were taken for UW13. Opened at 19:35 under cirrus conditions. Skies eventually cleared off. Turned pressurization fans on at 21:05 due to high enclosure dust count. Closed at 22:55 due to high dust count. Second-Half Observing Specialist: McMillan Second half was clear, with high dust and humidity levels part of the time. We re-opened at 00:10 just in time to start the second half observations. * The enclosure dust counter was reading more than twice as high as the tower counter; when I used the handheld counter to check, it was getting values considerably lower than either of the others -- even when it took counts just a few feet away from the enclosure counter. The decision to close between 02:10 and 03:00 was based as much on the humidity as on the dust, since both were hovering very near the closure limits. While we were open, both GRIM and the telescope behaved well except for one minor but strange glitch in the remote observer's Remark. The exposure sequence numbers spontaneously reset to a lower value, and at about the same time the sign of an offset, though appearing to be positive in the offset control window, kept coming through as negative. (These were Object offsets, which have the same sign in the MC as Remark.) The sequence numbers were easily reset, and the offsets were fixed when "Clear offset" was pushed and the numbers re-entered, so this was not a serious problem.
