No problems encountered. We closed at 20:03 due to rising humidity and threatening weather. The clouds were moving very fast and looked unstable. Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Russet McMillan The clouds started to clear around 00:30, but the humidity was too high to permit opening at first. We eventually opened at 01:40 to a few scattered clouds and poorish seeing. Observations went smoothly for the remainder of the morning. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:55 SPIcam +100(749) 084 78 -0.2/+1.0 212 14 R 0.94" 20:10 SPIcam +000(606) 223 65 -0.7/-0.7 262 11 R 1.27" 01:49 Echelle 102(-211) 229 41 -0.9/-1.2 279 14 Clear 1.48 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 37 7 16 212 (SSW) 109 ptly cldy none 17:01 32 16 13 207 (SSW) 186 ptly cldy none 18:01 31 9 10 227 (SW) 198 ptly cldy none 19:01 32 11 17 225 (SW) 248 ptly cldy none 20:01 31 16 12 235 (SW) 251 ptly cldy none 21:01 30 21 9 257 (WSW) 419 ptly cldy none 22:01 30 25 22 271 (W) 528 cloudy none 23:01 31 24 18 276 (W) 527 cloudy none 00:01 31 26 15 272 (W) 637 ptly cldy none 01:01 31 26 15 290 (WNW) 668 mstly clr none 02:01 30 23 13 278 (W) 649 mstly clr none 03:01 29 21 7 251 (WSW) 586 clear none 04:01 29 21 12 278 (W) 630 clear none 05:01 30 13 11 313 (NW) 319 clear none 06:01 32 0 15 328 (NNW) 181 clear none 07:01 31 4 11 335 (NNW) 186 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
