We did manage to open just as it became dark enough to focus, and the Adler program got a few images of a supernova. Because SPIcam is once again turned off, the time scheduled for PU04 was given to the following program instead. However, increasing high clouds and variable seeing made the DIS observations very difficult. No useful data were obtained after about 19:30. Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Noel Camron Hastings All cloudy tonight. Worked on new manual. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM" --------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:36 DISslit -150(813) 5 29 3.7/6.2 218 1 - 1.66 18:50 gdr -150(597) 53 73 0.1/4.1 99 2 - 1.43 ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 35 21 3 77 (ENE) 2015 cirrus none 17:01 33 18 3 87 (E) 2418 cirrus none 18:01 40 15 1 189 (S) 929 cirrus none 19:01 33 15 1 110 (ESE) 1353 cirrus none 20:01 32 17 3 92 (E) 1801 cirrus none 21:01 33 15 5 88 (E) 1435 cirrus none 22:01 37 15 0 176 (S) 767 cirrus none 23:01 32 16 2 190 (S) 1061 cirrus none 00:01 30 16 5 179 (S) 934 cloudy none 01:01 31 17 9 141 (SE) 1003 cloudy none 02:01 31 17 1 190 (S) 773 cloudy none 03:01 32 17 5 182 (S) 793 cloudy none 04:01 35 18 7 192 (SSW) 418 cloudy none 05:01 33 18 4 132 (SE) 568 cloudy none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
