Observing Specialist, 2nd Shift: Noel Camron Hastings Weather held with blowing snow early on and then cleared up. Snow and ice on the enclosure would not allow for opening. I plowed the parking lots, checked and filled instruments and watched as the battle for Florida raged in the presidential race. I found a possible problem with the 3.5m enclosure power surge suppressor and submitted a PR. Also, the axis controller failed once tonight. I disconnected the humidifier water solenoid valve again due to leakage. Jon Davis was in working on SPIcam, shoveling and such. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 12 9 17 71 (ENE) 41 cloudy snow 17:01 11 9 14 74 (ENE) 88 cloudy snow 18:01 11 9 13 73 (ENE) 101 cloudy none 19:01 11 8 10 76 (ENE) 138 cloudy none 20:01 12 11 10 73 (ENE) 88 cloudy none 21:01 12 10 11 74 (ENE) 169 cloudy none 22:01 11 9 13 74 (ENE) 134 cloudy none 23:01 15 14 16 32 (NNE) 196 clear none 00:01 16 14 10 29 (NNE) 601 clear none 01:01 16 13 17 56 (NE) 74 clear none 02:01 15 12 5 31 (NNE) 729 clear none 03:01 11 9 13 67 (ENE) 151 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
