Ran the CamLens script, getting 14 images at 1" seeing. Sky was clear all night and the seeing remained just below 1" until an early morning wind shift to the east. No problems. Scattered moonlight will make D.Zucker's reductions a little tricky. I tried to use Alan Watson's "fexp" focus script in the mc.tcl script described in the GRIM manual, but it crashed with what looks like a syntax error. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I'll look into it tomorrow. --------------- INSTRUMENT FOCUS LOG ---------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El #Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:25 SPIcam -210(694) 120 43 7.9/10.5 264 10 g' 1.0" 20:30 SPIcam -150(673) 152 54 8.2/9.1 263 8 MSSSO-V 0.9" 21:30 GrIm f/5 -025(928) 167 58 8.1/8.4 271 9 H 0.76" 01:20 SPIcam -050(672) 45 52 6.9/7.1 221 1 6563 0.9" ------------- WEATHER CONDITIONS ------------ Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 17:01 55 30 3 226 (SW) 173 mostly clear none 18:01 51 30 6 264 (W) 257 mostly clear none 19:01 48 30 8 268 (W) 302 mostly clear none 20:01 47 30 7 261 (W) 320 clear none 21:01 47 28 6 266 (W) 315 clear none 22:01 46 27 5 272 (W) 334 clear none 23:01 44 27 7 216 (SW) 340 clear none 00:01 45 28 4 213 (SSW) 406 clear none 01:01 46 28 2 254 (WSW) 398 clear none 02:01 46 29 1 225 (SW) 472 clear none 03:01 46 28 1 262 (W) 404 clear none 04:01 45 27 0 195 (SSW) 416 clear none 05:01 43 28 0 202 (SSW) 419 clear none 06:01 43 27 5 182 (S) 380 clear none 07:01 44 27 5 179 (S) 382 clear none note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
