Seeing was subarcsecond when we focused DIS, in basic agreement with the measurements from DIMM, and remained good to moderate all evening. Using DIS with the telescope in the NE (near a moderate wind), I noticed the star would often jump one half to one arcsecond toward the upper left (WNW) on the slitviewer. Then it would slowly drift back to the starting position. As the target tracked towards the meridian, the jumps became more due west. The jumps became more common as we got closer to the wind direction, a period in which the wind also increased slightly from an average of about 15 mpg to 18 or 19 mph. Then after another hour or so on the same target, with no appreciable change in the wind, the jumps went away and we were left with a gradual tracking drift towards the NNW. After the telescope crossed the meridian, there were a few smaller jumps toward the WSW, but tracking was generally much improved. Tracking with the echelle during second half was reasonably good, with no particular systematic behavior until the telescope got to a high airmass in the WSW -- then the star showed a persistent drift downward in the Mac view of the slitviewer.
