McMillan Weather kept us closed for most of the night -- clouds and nearby rain during the evening, and high dust counts in the morning hours. During the open periods, we were able to get some data between clouds, including a creditable attempt to observe Io in eclipse. While we didn't actually manage to acquire the invisible moon, we believe we will be able to observe the coming eclipses of Europa and Ganymede, provided that the weather allows us to acquire the moons before they enter Jupiter's shadow. We have confirmed that the TCC does a superb job of making the topocentric (and refraction) corrections necessary to observe a planet at very high airmass, provided that good geocentric ephemerides are available; our own default ephemeris is not good enough.
