McMillan A clear night with subarcsecond seeing, where the open time significantly outweighed the closed time! We opened a little late during twilight due to nearby rainfall, but still early enough to get some twilight flats with spicam. After that, the night was lovely until the humidity went up. Technically, it didn't quite reach the limit, but with the level of condensation on objects outside, and with the telescope being nearly a degree cooler than the air, I decided to close from 02:35 to 03:35, when the dewpoint dropped again. The telescope and instruments behaved well, aside from a few small glitches: the cloud camera got stuck in the north, and around the same time there was a slowdown in communications -- local as well as remote. This included slow response to commands, messages disappearing into the ether, and Remark not updating the telescope position during a slew (although the TCC was fine). The first signs were noticed during a slew at around 03:45, but it bogged down completely ten or fifteen minutes later. Restarting the MC and Remark seemed to clear up the problem, costing about ten minutes of downtime altogether.
