Gloria 2nd half observing specialist: K. Gloria The telescope was opened at 20:20 MDT. It was closed at 01:15, due to clouds, and reopened at 2:50. At 03:30, it was closed due to dust and not reopened. A half hour of evening twilight was lost due to the azimuth amplifier being unplugged, and I didn't catch this during the afternoon checkout, which is my mistake. Aside from that, the first have of the night was ok. There was some confusion over offset directions, but that's understandable considering the multiple conventions in use. Mike Ledlow and Frazer Owen were on site for the first half. Jeff Brown observed remotely from WSU the second half of the night. We were open only long enough to focus and get set up on his first object. He hadn't collected very many photons when we closed.
