I mounted the UNM (NM02) narrow band filters and they took flats before the echelle team arrived. The focus value for the echelle may be in error. When I focused the focus script gave me a FWHM value, that when multiplied by the pixel scale gave me that number. The FWHM value given by the script seems to correlate with IRAF measurements as well, but the image was obviously better than that and DIMM was reading about 1.2-1.5 arcsecs during this period. The image of the star when compared to the slit did look like it was 1.5 arcsecs or so. I will look into this... At 22:05, approximately, Chicago lost internet connection with APO for a few minutes. They received a 'Net is Down' message on the menu bar and then the pop-up window stating that the connection had been lost. They logged in again after this. There was a lingering 'Auto Expose' session left which I cleared with a 'gcam clear' and all seemed fine after that. The echelle finished the exposure it was on and Chris successfully started a new 'Auto Expose' routine with the guide camera. No time was lost effectively since the echelle was still exposing. With the new VBNS I would assume that this should not be happening though.
