Thunderstorms surrounded us and refused to let up! During the cloudy time the UW program took cals, flats and bias frames. Later on I switched out the aperture in the echelle to the 1.6" x 1.6" square aperture. This is a process that is a little involved due to the light tight taping we applied a while back, so any aperture switches should be minimized and if absolutely necessary, given at least 24-48 hours notice on the request. It was requested early for this switch so there was no problem. The dewar on DIS had been on for over 5 days and still showed nitrogen on the gauge, but felt very light, so I switched it out. It has the standard Full/Empty designation. I also switched out the NA2 fill dewar and the echelle fill dewar recently, so there are no full dewars left on the standby rack.
