Gloria [From R. McMillan: Karen sent me her comments, and I accidentally deleted them. Here's what I know: there was a thunderstorm shortly before sunset, accompanied by a sharp dust spike, but it was still possible to open well before the end of twilight. PU01 elected to make a change in their plans and use DIS instead of GRIM, so they had to absorb the extra instrument change time -- as it happened, that was lost to weather anyway. Pointing was mediocre but not remarkably bad. We closed at 23:30 due to clouds.] Observing specialist: R. McMillan We opened for half an hour at 02:30 to try to take advantage of a hole in the weather, but because of small clouds moving through it wasn't even possible to get a good focus for GRIM before the heavy stuff moved in again.
