Gloria The telescope was opened at 21:30 MDT. Opening was delayed by a nearby line of thunderstorms, which eventually passed to the east of us. Lew Hobbs observed with the Echelle for the first half of the night. Aside from the late start and occasional clouds, everything went well. 2nd half observing specialist: K. Gloria Scott Austin observed with DIS for the second half of the night. His network connection from WS was quite slow. The seeing was poor throughout the night, most likely due to the easterly wind.
